Charity shop!!! Doubtful! When ever it is open which is very rarely especially at weekends when it should be but is shut yet staff are inside going in and out of the shop with bags filled with items loading up into their personal cars makes me think something dodgy is going on. Plus on the very very rare occasions they are open and you find a useful item to buy with no pricing on most items need I say, then you ask a member of staff how much it is and they ask the woman manager in there how much and she randomly pulls a price out of the air at more than what the actual retail price would be to buy new!!! If you are lucky to find anything that does have a price tag on and you go to buy it like I did today, I was greeted with “sorry, but that item isn’t for sale yet and is just on display. But if you wish to join the waiting list you can put your name down and wait 3-4 weeks to see if you can still get it”. Let me think about that!! It’s on the shop floor, it has a price tag on it so I wish to buy it now NOT Later. An absolute joke of a charity shop and now I know and have a better understanding as to why they are looking to shut that shop down. Poorly run, staff unhelpful and rude and as mentioned well and truly over priced. Sadly it’s the charity and the people who the charity is for who suffer because of the poor management and over priced second hand items. I can keep going but hopefully I’ve said enough to enable you to look at other charity shops in surrounding areas as you can get the same stuff for a quarter of their asking price that the management randomly pull the pricing out off thin air and yet when you say that’s more than Brand new retail price, you just get “we’ll go somewhere else then” Avoid this shop at all costs. I’m just hoping that the management in Corporate see the bad reviews and does something about this as it would be a shame to loose another charity shop just because of poor staff and the management skills and greed.

Twice we've visited the shop and both times its been closed. On Saturday it should be open 9-4 we arrived at half past 1 and it was closed. We saw others trying to enter the shop too and the shop owners were just ignoring people standing at the door. We then tried to visit on sunday. Meant to be open at 10am we arrived at 11:30 again the shop closed and no one in the shop. Don't have opening times if you aren't going to open when you should!
