Paul Bennett2 StarWell I really didn't want to have to write a review like this but after asking them to get in touch on several occasions its now had to come to this.
So, we asked them to replace a shower pump for a more powerful pump.
To be fair, they came out, on time, did the work well and left.
Unfortunately, my other half was at work while the work was carried out and when she came home and tried the shower out she said the power really wasn't much different from what it was.
Now , bearing in mind, we paid around £700 and to have a pump that wasn't much different to what we had was quite disappointing.
I'm in sales myself and I wanted to be fair to them, so I wrote an email stating our issue and asking if they could provide a buy back and I would have been happy to pay the difference and to pay the additional labour.
3 emails later, nothing, not a dicky bird. Just completely ignored.
We were also expecting a quote to have a towel rail installed but they haven't bothered with this either.
They have just taken the money and run.
Very shameful and shocking customer service.
Its very hard to find a decent plumber and I would not advise using this company in future.Sunday 19th July 2020
Martin Rice5 StarHad an intermittent boiler fault which was diagnosed to the fan. It was 15 years old and when manually spinning it felt a bit stiff, so the the engineer realised that it probably just needed a bit of oil.
Fixed it perfectly and have had no more issues.
Maybe some other companies would have tried to sell me a new fan. But XBG were brilliant that they could simply service the existing one at minimal cost.Monday 5th October 2020
Paul Bashford5 StarI had a new boiler from XBG a number of years ago. The installation was fast, and the team really tidy, cleaning up everything before they left. The engineer took the time to explain the new functions, and we've never had an issue. They still services the system every year which again is quick, clean, and efficient.
