It’s great walking country too. For starters there’s the Winchcombe way. This 42-mile, figure-of-eight trail runs adjacent to the campsite.
Winchcombe is a charming, quiet little site with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. Bag yourself a pool-side pitch and enjoy a prime fishing spot.
The site has excellent toilet and shower facilities, a games room and dog walk.
The attractive town of Winchcombe is a short drive from the site. It has Walkers are Welcome status and a tempting variety of top restaurants, pubs and tea shops. Further afield Cheltenham with its elegant Regency houses, award-wining gardens and stylish shops is worth visiting.
Self-catering accommodation is also available at this campsite. Lodges are available to hire.

Graham Kelley5 StarReally nice campsite. Even at the beginning of the half term holiday it was peaceful, busy with everybody content to enjoy the surroundings, lake, trees and ducks with ducklings. All the facilities are clean and well maintained the only thing I would like to see is a proper bench in each of the toilet cubicles instead of the flimsy and cheap circular stool. C&MHC have adopted benches which fold up out of the way when not needed.Friday 3rd June 2022

Access to the site from any direction is well signposted and easy to enter.
All facilities are spotlessly clean and modern. The pitches are well spaced out with some on the lakeside.

Trevor Litherland4 StarGreat site, not huge but well sized. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and showed us to our pitch and gave us a small welcome pack that contained a map of the site together with useful telephone numbers. Great place to camp if you have dogs as there is a dog walk and a large field that has mix of wild meadow and mown areas. The roads on site are tarmacadam with plenty of hard standing and electric hookups. Great campsite if you want to explore the Cotswolds. Would recommend.Wednesday 29th June 2022
