Whitehall is a warm and vibrant school where expectations for pupils are high and all members of the school community are committed to the very best for the children in our care. We have high aspirations for ourselves and our school community and believe that education has the ability to open pathways to enable all of us to seek and build our own destinies. We are committed to being a Rights Respecting School and put the Rights of the Child at the core of all that we do. We know that children learn best when they feel safe and are confident in knowing themselves and the role that they play in wider social structures and by making a positive contribution to society. As such, we pride ourselves on challenging our children to think, question, and challenge themselves, and us, on what they know and to seek out knowledge for themselves. We are very proud of our school community and all that it stands for. We welcome visits to our school so you can experience for yourselves our warm and inclusive school.

Both my girls attended to Whitehall nursery and loved it there. The teachers were amazing: Diane, Mrs Bugden and many more! They were very professional and good with the children. My girls have moved up in class but still love Diane dearly as she genuinely cares about the children under her care and strives to see them progress.

They used to be an amazing school that provided a lot of support and care , that is still a standing reputation for the nursery and a few of the teachers however I have found the reception team to be extremely rude with an outstandingly limited ability to listen and understand. I had initially assumed it to be a misinterpretation of my own straightforwardness but after discussing it with others it seems the review is a common one where staff are found to be rude, dismissive and unhelpful. Don't get me wrong I've had possibly one in five positive conversations and it would seem it depends on that week of the month. My child's teachers and class room support however are very attentive and certainly on the ball in the main. Happy to leave my contact details for any returns on this review however they don't seem capable of keeping it on record as I've just found out they hold the wrong information and that's some how my fault, funny how the details I had to provide in order to move forward with my child's application to the school and then again when it was accepted seemed to not exist.
