West Down Orchard is a friendly, family-run business set in the heart of Somerset; the park is set in a 12-acre orchard with stunning views of the countryside. If you’re looking for rest and relaxation, this is the spot! Families are welcome and we’re pet friendly.
We’re open all year round and offer both hard-standing and grass pitches on level ground. Also available are several static holiday homes. We have large, modern, separate male & female toilet & shower facilities, a laundrette, an on-site shop, bike hire and more.

Wilf Williams5 StarWhat a cracking site, they have normal pitches with electric , but if you want to go off grid then you can park on your own in a kind of meadow area next to an old orchard. Great walks to be had through the orchards. Tidy and clean facilities and great hosts with a good sense of humour. A fantastic place to stayWednesday 28th July 2021
iain maddox5 StarWhat a wonderful camp site. Nothing much on the site: showers and washing facilities, electric hook up, dog friendly camping, grass pitches, a small take away van and bar. However everyone we have met on the site from the guys that work here to the other campers have been a delight to speak to. Great camping at its bestTuesday 27th July 2021
Mark Horton5 StarWhat a great Campsite. Choose where you want to be in as much room as you want. Lots of wildlife around, green woodpeckers all around and rabbits to keep them company.
The hosts were fantastic at all times, customer service as it should be. Great facilities at a great price. We'll definitely visit again.Saturday 10th July 2021
