We highly recommend Karen at The Wealden Cake Company. When it came to finding someone to make our wedding cake, I initially truly struggled to find someone who didn’t want to charge the earth just because the word ‘wedding’ was involved which tripled the price tag. One quoted £275 for a buttercream cake to serve 14 people. When I found Karen, she was just so kind, understanding, and said she’d didn’t believe in ripping couples off just because it was a wedding cake and that she would make us our dream cake for our big day (and for a reasonable price) - and it truly was perfect! The cake was beautiful and was accompanied by 30 stunning cupcakes. Both truly met the brief and we cannot thank Karen enough. She was so helpful throughout the design process and we highly recommend choosing her for any and all cake orders!

Karen made us two cakes, one a 30th birthday present, the other a wedding fruitcake. Both were absolutely fantastic, The chocolate birthday cake had an amazing classic car made out of icing design, which exceeded our exceptions! The wedding fruitcake was a simple design as we wanted to decorate it ourselves, but both were delicious and exactly what we asked for. Couldn't recommend more!
