went today to buy haddock,chios and peas which came to £16.45..haddock been put up to £9.45 ! Not a very big piece of fish at all and batter crisp on top but soggy underneath..ut was rubbish.The chips werent very nice either. The Beach takeaway is much better..we had just childrens cod and chips for £5.00 and they were far superior to the Waterside takeaway.

After a long 40 minute wait for two portions of chips and scampi, in which we witnessed the manager tell his staff they had forgotten about our order, the portions of scampi were overpriced and overdone whilst the chips were limp and lackluster. A free weeks later on a whim I thought it might be worth another go... But oh boy was I wrong. Within 5 minutes of placing an order we witnessed the manager dip his bare hand holding scampi into the bowl of batter before throwing them into the fryer. Avoid this place at all costs.

Hands down, the best fish and chips I ever had! Only bad thing was i ordered a large cod and got a small. Would definitely recommend !!!

We had fish and chips from the Waterside Takeaway on the 01/08/2021. The chips were very nice and they were decent portions, though we have never had such small pieces of cod from a takeaway. We both ordered regular cod and were very surprised when we opened the boxes and saw how small the fish were. The cost of the fish was not cheap at £5.75 each. I will never purchase fish from there again.

Customer service slow , got some attitude, they don't communicate between themselves so it's a mess, they weren't even busy. We order family bundel, because was cheaper to order this then separately. Fish and chips was cooked nicely , chicken was without taste and a little bit dry. There was no choice of drinks , so we had to take whatever there was, they do have great curry sauce. All of this cost us 25 £ and you eat from box. Not sure if I would recommend, got mixed feelings about it.
