I have only had Takeaways but always excellent, ready on time, friendly staff. My new favourite is lamb shank curry with vegetable rice. My Saturday night treat!

My lovely sister treated me to a birthday dinner at veraj and I had a very enjoyable meal. The food is outstanding, in my limited experience the best Indian cuisine I've tasted. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Attentive. The fact it was quite busy is testament to their popularity. Empty restaurants speak for themselves. I'd gladly eat there again.

A Saturday night meal out with friends...excellent service, nothing too much trouble. Food was hot, plentiful and delicious. A local place to eat with no trouble parking and doesn't break the bank. Would highly recommend.

A couple of issues. We ordered a meal for collection. The menu on the website says 10% off collections. When I went to collect they said that: 1. The price was £4 more than what the menu prices say. 2. That the 10% off on collections deal had finished in December. So from the off I'm £6.90 down. At that point I was thinking ok.. places change their menus all the time due to inflation etc. So then I asked for the up to date menu for future reference so I don't get caught out again - to which I got the reply "it's on the website". The menu on the website is the one I was looking at initially.. So have I just been robbed of the extra £6.90 or are they lying about the menu? My curry was ok, but it was half a portion and still left me hungry. My wife had a prawn massala which was ok, however there were only 4 prawns in her curry and they tasted what I can only describe as 'perfumey'. Her portion was also small so she was left hungry too. Please update your menus because if it was an honest representation of your prices especially with the collection deal I would have gone elsewhere. Also, please increase your portion sizes.. there just wasn't enough. I'm not willing to pay a premium like this for a mediocre curry again, especially until I know exactly what I'm spending. Plenty of better takeaways in the area.
