Lovely little cottage. clean, quiet and cosy. Views are beautiful, building work for hard pitch camping has been started on field below but was made aware before arriving. Easy to use hot tub on decking accessible through patio doors allowing for beautiful sunset. Ample room in fridge. Dog friendly. I would return.

Quiet, clean and child friendly. Toilet block is fairly new, but don't forget coins for shower. Power and water to each pitch, with a small drain makes life easier. Views are nice, although restricted if on a back pitch.

Good small campsite ideal for families. The upper level is next to the A48 and therefore noisey, the lower level is quieter and has great views of the valley. Play area for children. The showers had low flow rates so not easy to wash quickly.

What a lovely stay! The kids had a great time riding their bikes up and down. It was really handy to have a picnic bench available for meals and the views were breathtaking. The facilities were always clean and fresh and I know, it sounds spoiled, but there was decent toilet paper in the bathrooms. What more do you need when you are camping! There is a few shops nearby for anything you might have forgotten and the cycling and walking trails in the Forest of Dean are out of this world. We had great bbq's and there was a little field below that we could take our dog for a quick uncrossing of legs. The owners were very welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay.

Used one of the two cottages onsite. Position and general facilities were good and cleanish (Though a freezer ice monster and rusted microwave). Let down by basics such as no guides on use of cooker, tv etc. Crockery ok, but cereal bowls no more than deep plates! Blinds in the skylights very difficult to draw and will be nigh impossible for many. Some leaflets, but lacking in local information. Cleaners were friendly and helpful, but our neighbours in next door cottage didn't have good responses to issues from owner at all. Were there anyone actually living onsite?? Good for dogs though and lovely nearby views. Just working on the basics as above will greatly enhance the ratings.
