“A very warm welcome from the owners.  The room was cosy, the beds comfortable and the bathroom lovely.  We learnt lots about the area from Caroline and David and were made to feel very much at home.  Breakfast was phenomenal.  As good as, if not better than any restaurant/hotel I've been to.  We would definitely stay again! The bedroom is bright and airy with beautiful views over the roof tops; comfortable double bed with en-suite facilities, flat screen TV, a wonderful library, a digital radio alarm, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities. The en-suite is fitted with shower, heated towel rail, towels and toiletries. There is wireless internet access in your bedroom. Prices include a continental breakfast. The Internationally renowned art gallery Hauser & Wirth Somerset  is just a ten minute walk from the house with gardens planted by Piet Odolf.   On the way go to St. Mary's church, the medieval Packhorse Bridge, Sexey's Hospital, almshouses, and ancient bartons. Many footpaths weave their way through Bruton and the surrounding countryside, including the Leyland Trail and Macmillan Way and many walkers use Bruton as a centre. The town also boasts a lively high street filled with independent shops, pubs and award-winning restaurants.  There's so much to do and see in the area. The annual Festival of Arts, including the Packhorse Fair in May is a noteworthy attraction as are the Art Show, Horticultural Show and musical and theatrical productions. The Community Office, situated in the High Street, will be happy to provide local tourist leaflets, bus and train timetables and details of local events. The Bath and West Showground is only five miles away, while Glastonbury Tor, Glastonbury Abbey and the city of Wells are a short drive from Bruton. Bath is only a 40 minute drive or a direct train ride from Bruton station. Visit the Roman Spa, Royal Crescent and many shops as well as cultural and leisure activities. Weymouth and Bristol are also on direct rail links.

We really enjoyed staying at Turks Hall. Our room was clean and comfortable and had a lovely bathroom with a great shower and bath. The breakfast was fantastic and the hosts were lovely and generous with their knowledge of the local area. It's located a very short walk from the centre of the town, Hauser and Wirth and the train station. Would certainly stay again if back in Bruton.

A wonderful weekend at Turks Hall, courtesy of our charming hosts. The breakfasts were delicious and the room was just right. Caroline and David had lots of excellent local tips, and they even arranged for Channel 4 to show the final of the US Open women's tennis final! Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful couple of days staying with Caroline and David. Their BnB is beautiful and charming and they immediately put as at ease when we arrived. They are consummate hosts: happy to chat and tell you all about the local area, and to keep you full of homemade flapjacks and breakfast compote. Listen to their recommendations.

Caroline & David were so welcoming & their beautiful house is perfectly situated in Bruton. They were both helpful, super easy to contact prior to arrival and provided lots of tips on places to visit. My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved all the homely touches in the room. We were stopping off on a cycle trip so also appreciated the wholesome breakfast including homemade muesli and granola, plus a cooked up veggie feast! Will definitely be staying again :)

We had such a warm welcome from the hosts, our room was very cosy and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a B&B, with things homemade such as cooked fruits in earl grey tea. It’s very well located, walking distance from the town centre, Hauser and Wirth gallery, and nice walks. We’ll be back!
