Our Wellington Somerset hotel, on the edge of the Blackdown Hills AONB, is a couple of miles from the centre of this friendly market town, known for its independent shops and its reputation as a foodie's paradise.
After paying homage to the 'Iron Duke' at the Wellington Monument on the hillside overlooking the town centre, sample the local brew at nearby Sheppy's Cider Farm or stroll through the peaceful gardens of Cothay Manor.

Good comfortable bedroom/bed. Fan provided in room.
Nice bathroom, though shower on the weaker side.

Jack Lyttle5 StarTraveled down from Birmingham for work so booked last minute. There was plenty of parking, the room and bathroom were very clean, all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Located just off the M5. Had to have the window open over night because it was warm so there was quite a bit of traffic noise, but that's no one's fault, and still slept relatively well. There's a Shell garage, McDonald's, Costa and a pub nearby. Would definitely stay again.Friday 8th July 2022
Nigel H Seymour3 StarI'm receiving emails from yourselves about rooms from £30 .00 per night ...and most rooms you have for the dates I want are nearer to £70.00 per night...and the costs fluctuate so much it's really a trial to try and book anything! My thoughts are you are rather misleading those like me who want to book, but do not wish to be paying £60 - 70 plus a night ....I think you need to look at your marketing....I stayed with you some weeks ago for £44.00 a night ....This is realistic, and under the present country climate affordable.....you really need to assess your marketing here!Wednesday 4th May 2022
