This pub is a good stop for any road trip in the area. Stunning picturesque view of the countryside with very good food. Only downside is that it is a tad expensive, but worth the money.

Splendid pub, full of character located in a beautiful part of Hampshire, ( Totford) great ales, wonderful food, great service and really good garden and covered outdoor seating too. Near the picturesque village of Arlesford, easily accessible of A31, so there’s no excuse to pass by. Plenty of footpaths in this area, a pub not to be missed!

We've just returned from a short break staying at the Woolpack. The food was unbelievable ! Masterchef eat your heart out ! I'm vegatarian and the flavours, textures, etc., etc., were fantastic with a very imaginative chef. The bathrooms could do with being updated and cleaner and the windows could certainly do with a fresh lick of paint. The staff were helpful and attentive. Worth another trip for the food alone. This pub is lovely. The atmosphere, the vintage look and the service was all exceptional. I had the risotto for lunch and it was delicious. Filled me up nicely with lovely flavours. I then had the sorbet which was coconut and it was lovely and refreshing. I also tried the local gin from Winchester and the flavours were just what I needed on a hot may day. It was so refreshing tasting a bit like Pimm's. I do recommend it if you are in the area to try the local gin. The pub has plenty of space. Big dining area , outdoor area with a pizza oven and outdoor area at the side near the carpark with a play area for children. The carpark is quite big and they do offer rooms as well for you to stay in. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and polite. Always on hand to help you. The toilet facilities were clean and everything is well signposted. Really enjoyed my afternoon at this pub and would definitely recommend going if you are in the area.

Unfortunately or maybe fortunately we never got inside the doors of this pub. Our welcome from the young male staff member was so unfriendly we left. We were on bikes and in high vis clothing. We were looking for food at 11.15 and were just told kitchens didn't open till 12. Then we were ignored. I asked did they do anything else, perhaps a scone. No from him and ignored. We got the message and left, cyclists in high vis tops were not welcome. Just a bit of friendliness or offering to show us the menu and we couid have sat down and had a drink until 12. Cyclists, don't bother to go here.
