We had booked a room in a hotel. It turned out to be a pub with rooms upstairs. Unfortunately it was in awful condition with damp walls, plenty of clutter. Our room smelt of damp despite open window. It was very dusty in the room. It was very misleading on airbnb website that it's a sweet hotel with nice rooms. It was an unpleasant experience. Unfortunately we arrived in the afternoon, so there was no time to look for something more appropriate. The location is great in the town centre, however if you want somewhere quite and peaceful while in the Ribble Valley don't book it at the weekend as the noise outside on a Saturday night is like your in a Tenerife beach resort.

Sunday night. Its just gone 10.45pm I can hear Kareoke from the Swan. I get closer and I can hear "It must be love" being belted out. I enter and a lovely chap called Brian is giving it full beans on the dance floor singing his heart out. Cracking little place 👍

Easily one of the best pubs in Clitheroe, would highly recommend. Excellent priced drinks and a very good atmosphere.
