The White Hart has been trading as a pub in Somerton’s attractive market square since the 16th Century. Over the years it has been through 2 name changes, numerous owners, an 18th century facelift and most recently, a total renovation in 2013.
The pub now offers a spacious bar, an outstanding kitchen and dining area together with 8 lovely en-suite rooms. And on sunny days there’s also a courtyard and garden for al fresco eating and drinking. Our brilliant chefs create delicious, seasonal food to cater for long, indulgent, multi-course feasts or the simplest of snacks – all available in our restaurant and bar.

Ronnie K5 StarWhat a surprise this lovely pub was 😍 We stopped by for breakfast and had the best meal in a long time. It's hard to impress us when it comes to a full English, but the White Hart did it. Crispy sourdough toast, perfectly cooked eggs, flavourfully spiced mushroom and tomatoes, everything was perfect. Loved the halloumi with the veggie version. Big thank you to the chef, please don't change a thing! The coffee was also very tasty and the place looks really nice inside, much bigger than we thought! About to book for an anniversary dinner, we will be back. A lot.Tuesday 16th November 2021
D C5 StarThe service has certainly been improving in these last few months and the staff are friendlier and more efficient compared with pre-lockdown. 🤗 We had the Sunday Roast 🍖 which was delicious and an ideal amount. Dessert 🍰 was tasty as well. Slightly on the pricey side, yet if the food and service is top notch, then we are happy with this 😋Wednesday 10th November 2021

Kathryn Davies4 StarI enjoyed a Sunday lunch here in summertime, out in the patio area. They'd made it look really nice considering it's just the back of a pub!
There was a classy menu too.My friends enjoyed the beef but I'm a veggie, and their veggie Sunday lunch was actually really good. The vegetables were all tasty too, and I was so full I didn't need pudding.
Very friendly staff, and nice cocktails and mocktails.
