Stopped here for lunch as it had been recommended. We were not disappointed. A lovely venue in a stunning location with plenty of disabled parking. Wheelchair accessible entrance. A warm welcome from the friendly staff. Despite not having booked we were able to get a suitable table for a Wheelchair user. Quick and efficient service. Although there were a lot of diners were were served promptly and the food came out without delay. A good range of food and drinks including daily specials. Plenty of staff on duty who were attentive and good humoured. Excellent washrooms. Competitively priced for the quality and quantity.

Waited 15 minutes to get served, I can understand "waited service", but seriously you Guys need to understand when people have come in especially after you've seated them and make sure you serve them. We've been going to The Waterfront for 4 years and will never be going again. Service APPALLING!!!!!!!!! Perhaps employee some adults instead of a group of kids more interested in talking to each other???? Just an idea

Good food,decent beer and a beautiful location with views over the marina. However can only assume this business doesn't want to make money. Tried to book a table for a subsequent visit and they wouldn't accept a booking later than 7:30pm. We couldn't get there until 8:00 so no joy. We then turned up hoping for a quick drink at 10:15 only to be told that they had stopped serving! Advertised closing time 11:00 but early closing at manager's discretion apparently. Won't be back.

It's absolutely ridiculous! Kids under 5 can't eat in! You can seat outside that's we've been told! And nobody cares It's cold weather. Looks like discrimination by age guys! Especially we didn't know that information before we came. It's not a night club It's a restaurant! Very disappointed.

Came here for the first time after mother in law had been here previously and really enjoyed it. However this experience was not great. Firstly wanted a roast from the specials menu however they had none left. This wasn't too bad and we could cope with it. However the food then took a very long time to arrive and when it did, the beef stroganoff was very small, about the size of a ready meal and not worth £14. We were never asked how the food was. Tables then took another very long time to be cleared which other people were also complaining about, we had to prompt them to do this and we did not get offered any extra drinks or asked about the food we had eaten. Desserts menu was very limited and we asked if there were any other desserts available on the specials menu etc but told no. Ordered treacle tart and 2 brownies, only to be told there were no brownies available. We noticed another table with some sort of chocolate cake and when asking them, they mentioned a cake counter which we had not been told about. The waiter then came to us and told us actually they did have brownies which he didn't know about, so we asked how much the cake was compared to the brownie and decided to go with the cake. After speaking to the manager we were told the bill would be looked at. The bills ended up being wrong the first time (after waiting a long time to get them) and even then compensation was very small along with a very blunt and slightly rude member of staff. Would not recommend.
