Very nice food, lovely pub, really enjoyed our lunch, the only down side was the play area, as it wasn't really suitable for my little one as there isn't a baby swing and the climbing frame and slide was too big for him as well. More suited to older children which was a shame for my toddler! A good play area is the main attraction for a family with children, so would love to see it updated and go back again one day. Views really are beautiful though !

Beautiful and homely pub close to the Redmires reservoir. Fantastic array of local beers and ales. Vast outdoor seating area with a generous play area for the kids. Reasonably priced meals.. friendly staff! Will return to try a few more beers 😀

Nice pub, great views and play area for kids. Ordered a fish finger sandwich (£9.95). As photo shows, disappointing to barely get much more than a goldfish in the sandwich for the price.

Not one to write reviews but wasnt very impressed with the sunday lunch especially when paying £15 a roast, vegtables bland and overcooked and the rest of the meal average. Forgot one of our roasts and when it came out it had been rushed together , forgotten stuffing and no fresh veg for meal that came late. Staff wernt very botherd that they had forgotten meal and no check backs to see how everything was.

First visit was 5 star review. 2nd visit was good but roast was average but still great atmosphere. Our last visit was a 3 star. Food took over an hour, no staff came to update us. Food then came with a couple of dishes missing - we chased. One came. We chased again, one more came. No condiments were offered and i went to get some. I hope it is just a blip as I enjoy the pub but please step up TML's
