With over 15 years in the food industry, working in kitchens all across the North West Daniel Jones, or Jonesy, as many know him, took up ownership of the White Hart, Sabden in 2015, quickly followed by the Bar & Grill duo of the Griffins Head, Huncoat and The Station Hotel, Clitheroe. If Dan’s not in his chef whites and not pushing paper about, you can find him enjoying his lunch and/or dinner in one of the restaurants. A big steak lover, and as such you’ll see some of the finest steaks the area offers across all three menus

Rachael Parry1 StarReally disappointing, won’t be visiting again. We’re local and have been a few times but today was just terrible. Bar Manager was so preoccupied with something else that serving us appeared to be a chore for him. Left waiting at the bar for ages. Then when our food arrived my husbands order was wrong, the bar manager didn’t offer to replace it and you could clearly see he just wanted my husband to eat the incorrect meal. At the end of the meal, we expected that the incorrect meal would have been deducted by way of an apology, nope. In fact my husband didn’t even get an apology, the bar manager just showed him the PDQ and said “tap here”. It really was a master class in how not to win repeat custom. If you’re looking for fantastic food and great customer service, I can highly recommend the Brown Cow in Chatburn, just down the road.Saturday 7th May 2022
Ian Turner3 StarIt's a lovely, cosy, centrally located pub, with a pleasing decor; the atmosphere in there is always nice. The food isn't bad, but definitely overpriced. The prices suggest fine dining, but the quality of the food doesn't. There are much better restaurants in the Clitheroe area at the same price and many cheaper restaurants of the same quality.Sunday 12th December 2021
alik kalinda4 StarGreat service. That blond lady with a ponytail that served me was amazing. Had a t-bone and couple of pints. However, food can do better. And music should be less loud. Great vibes. All together 4/5. Recommend.Saturday 31st July 2021
