Lisa Willmott5 StarGreat local theatre, small & intimate, great view of the stage wherever you sit. Been to some really good shows here over the years, so pleased it didn't close after the pandemic. Free parking available next to the theatre but can get busy. Would definitely recommend a visit.Saturday 23rd April 2022

The first trip to a theatre for some time . Last minute decision. Totally inadequate box office. Slow service. What excuse can the council have for their systems?
I list.
Unable issue /print tickets.
No chip and pin machine available for credit card payments.
Unable issue ticket unless your name and address in system.
Seat number written on post it note in lieu of ticket ditto receipt.
Credit card handed over and manually entered into system as though an online booking.
This is a theatre . What training do staff get? Where was the duty manager to sort these problems out and ensure these systems are adequate and working?Thursday 7th April 2022
mr bryk4 StarThe whole experience can be described as adequate. The seats on lower deck are not too good if you are a short person. If someone tall sits in front, whole scene will become less visible. Terrace seats are more comfortable, set in a way that person who sits in front is placed lower.
Acoustically, there were moments when I couldn't hear a thingy, or the volume was set too much. Music, bass, overall positive experience.
Parkingwise, plenty of space. If the spot is full, Sainsbury's is nearby.
Service stuff was very friendly. Big props!

Richie Clifford5 StarA really nice theatre which deserves it's good reputation. Convenient car park next to it, although it's got a 180cm height restriction !! A walk to Hoddesdon if you fancy pre-show food or drink.Sunday 27th March 2022
