We had a lovely stay at The Snug at Caphays. The attention to detail was exceptional and it was obvious a lot of thought had gone into the property. Kay was a fantastic host and the breakfast hamper of locally sourced produce and homemade bread was a great touch! The guide that Kay provided prior to arriving was really insightful and helped with finding things to do in the area. I’d highly recommend The Snug to friends and family!

For me, breakfast is the best thing about staying at The Snug! Fresh homemade bread and locally sourced accompaniments are delicious. The room is lovely: clean, fresh and nicely furnished. To top it off, the hosts are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely would stay again. I highly recommend.

The Snug is the perfect place for a countryside get away. The location is very quiet and rural but within easy reach of amenities and other attractions - a car is a must though. The Snug itself has everything you need - comfy bed and brand new en suite facilities. The kitchenette is great for breakfast and you could even cook a decent meal there if you fancied it (although we went out to local pubs/restaurants when we stayed). Kay was on hand with lots of local tips and the food provided in the breakfast hamper was great. Will definitely come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Snug - we will definitely be back! Not always easy travelling with a 3 year old but there were no complaints about the sofa bed! Slept like a dream. Loved the attention to detail and all the home grown and local produce. Thanks so much Kay and Frazer, we will be seeing you again soon!

Woweeeeee. The Snug at Caphays was just wonderful. This picturesque location was exactly what we were were hoping for as our first time away as a family of three (we have a newborn baby!) and we couldn't have received a warmer welcome from Kay, Frazer and Lennie. We stayed for three nights in total and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home. Watching the deer in the garden and hearing the tawny owl hoot each night had to be one of the highlights of our getaway. Kay's guidebook was super helpful as well as accurate. Our days out were brilliant and there is still so much we'd like to do next time. We normally stay somewhere different during our holidays away but The Snug is going to become a regular treat for our little family.
