Great value but probably one of worst pubs I've ever known for service. Some of the staff are nothing short of rude and ignorant. I managed pubs for 20 years and I seriously struggle to understand the mentality of some of the people who represent this place. I was always trained and trained my staff to serve people as quickly as possible to take as much money you could but this place is the opposite. I personally wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Have called twice now for breakfast and will again tomorrow after driving through from Longton each time simply because the Poste of Stone is so good. It's light and airy with the bonus of being able to park outside. The staff are very attentive, coffee machines must be the best maintained, regularly cleaned and topped up we have ever come across 👍. As for the breakfast, my wife and I cannot fault them. Egg whites firm but yokes runny, bacon lean and tasty as are the sausages ... both vegan and meat varieties. Tables and hard floors clean and not sticky. A genuinely nice experience, albeit helped no doubt because of to warm and sunny mornings adding to ambiance. 👍👍👍👍

A topical spoons cheap and cheerfully. The food was a good standard for the price and a decent pint for the money. Was a bit crowded but you can see why

Usual Spoon's. Cheap beer. Good food at a great price. Quick and easy service. Friendly staff. Can't go wrong.

I like wetherspoons pubs because they always have a good selection of cask ales kept in perfect condition the poste is a nice spacious pub and good value for money. Unfortunately staff who couldn't care less and drunken blokes who swear without being reprimanded can spoil your visit I would not consider it a family pub after 6pm. Another visit July 2022 same problems
