sukhbir panesar5 StarBeautiful setting and absolutely amazing food. Friendly service right through from booking to leaving this unique venue. The food came out piping hot and perfectly presented. The food was full of flavour and well portioned. Unfortunately we had no space for pudding but the choices were very tempting. A very very busy place and it is easy to see why, will definitely be returning the next time we are in Devon.Sunday 7th August 2022
Diane. Powell5 StarWe had Sunday lunch here today. Choice of Beef, Turkey, Pork and surprisingly Lamb. It was exceptionally well cooked. Lots of roasties and delicious gravy. My husband has the ploughman's which was huge. The desserts were delicious.
I would highly recommend the Pig and Whistle for not only the excellent food but the service was very good too. Nothing was too much trouble.Sunday 17th July 2022
Markos5 StarHighly recommended pub! Visited as a family and received excellent hospitality and great food. We tried the pork belly which was awesome, this is food cooked with love and attention. Quite filling too! Local ales on the tap. We directly booked for the day after to try out the rest of the menu. Wonderful location, onsite free parking. Don't think twice, just go!Sunday 1st May 2022
E Kapp5 StarSunday roast is a proper Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Very enjoyable meal. Good selection of starters and deserts. Our dogs even had a blanket supplied for them to lay on and a bowl of water, as well as dog treats supplied.
