Glenn Bowie4 StarA little gem in the middle of nowhere. It was very busy on my visit so I sat outside where there is plenty of seating in a nice garden. I like that you can just drop in for a quiet drink without having to have something to eat.Wednesday 22nd June 2022
Stephen Paul Enright5 StarVery pleasant one night stay. Staff were excellent, food was good, room was small but clean and comfortable. Noisy floorboards were the only minor issue. Would be very happy to stay again and highly recommendFriday 3rd June 2022
Barbara Colbridge5 StarCelebrating a family birthday on 1st April. Table of 10. Varied menu which suited all tastes from us oldies through to teenagers. Well cooked and despite being busy with another large party, no long waits. Some really delicious and unusual desserts. Staff were friendly throughout. A really pleasurable evening.Friday 22nd April 2022

Jordan Harvey3 StarLovely location, and staff were fantastic. There were a fair few of us, and everyone was well looked after by the staff for. Unfortunately I personally found the food to be way overpriced for what it is.. had the "Butterflied chicken" with fries, salad and peas. Plate was warm when the meal was served however the food quickly cooled down, by time I had taken a couple of bites the food was cold. Chicken was quite hard.. certainly wasn't worth the £15... On the other hand location was fantastic. Nice quiet village, well nested away, certainly wasn't too busy when we visited.Thursday 31st March 2022
