It's fine just to get your head down for a night or two it's not the type of place for a romantic getaway. A fresh made bed and coffee making facilities make for a Goodnights sleep you'll do for me

Wow, not sure what type of business this is but they will certainly not be getting our custom. Over 3 weeks ago we went onto the website to book accommodation but needed to obtain a quote. We clicked the required button and requested prices and availability for a couple of blocks of dates. These were in the region of 3 or 4 nights so would have thought this was worth them at least sending us a response to say if they were interested or totally booked. Sadly, despite 3 chasers we have not had any response, even an automated acknowledgement. Needless to say we have now booked somewhere else nearby. Very poor service. It's sad to have to give such a bad review after what the hospitality industry has been through but unfortunately feel there's no choice but to let people know.

This was a really good place to stay whilst away working. When you are missing home comforts, it's nice to be greeted with a warm welcome and find a room that is well decorated with a nice comfy bed and spotlessly clean. The power shower was above par... I really didn't want to get out of it which makes a massive difference to all the other crappy showers at the places I've been staying at recently! The family who make this place work are really nice and very helpful with their true northern hospitality. Lots of places to eat nearby and I can recommend the Indian which is only a two minute walk away. This hotel was a real gem to find and well priced too. I would definitely stay again!

Was ok for one night but not sure I could stay again... We were charged an extra £10 for checking in early, which I get but we were only putting our bags in and then leaving for a wedding. Bathrooms could do with a little more cleaning and could do with more than 1/2 a roll of toilet paper but weren't awful.. Beds were ok, but the rooms could do with an update, beds didnt match, and the decor was very miss matched. Outside our door the door frame was all broken and there was some plaster from the wall on the floor..
