Great place! Haven't stayed in any of the rooms as yet but the food menu was absolutely terrific. Great selection which are all very reasonably priced, as well as the portion sizes being absolutely spot on. Staff were very approachable and happy to help/advise even though they were clearly quite busy. This was my first visit, but I'll definitely be looking for an excuse to eat here again.

Having been told over the phone 2 weeks prior to arrival it was OK to pay cash on arrival and it's not a problem and then to receive the email I did regarding payment that's what prompted my call, why was I told it was OK? sounds like a staff issue to me. I never mentioned your restaurant? but for your information we did have breakfast there. If you would like to call me to discuss further I would be happy to.

Place wasn't clean food all over the floor. Wasn't that busy and out of 5 orders 3 were wrong. Customer service was very poor. Used to love this place but gone rapidly down hill. Other customers walked out while we were there To top it off the girl was really rude when we went to pay at the bar. We won't be back.

Great refurbished rooms, excellent breakfast in the morning. The only gripe that I have is that we were staying in Room7 for 2 nights, which is situated above the kitchen, but the heat in that room was beyond bearable. The Staff tried to help as much as they could, by supplying 2 fans, but this did not help the air situation in the room. When trying to sleep. Granted this was on the middle of the summer, but perhaps this might be something to look at for that time of the season..

When we arrived we were made very welcome and got to our rooms very quickly. The ginn looked very good and that was what we found throughout, rooms, bar , dining room , So clean. Well if you like space in your Rooms and in the dining room that's what you get .staff couldn't do enough and polite throughout.
