First time visit to this pub/restaurant.The 3 of us arrived at 2.15pm and it was pretty quiet. I asked if I could bring my dog in and was delighted when the waitress said yes but we would have to have a table in the conservatory which was absolutely fine. The dining area was clean & tidy. Shown to our table by the waitress she asked if she could bring us some drinks and we ordered. The menu is quite extensive and eventually we made our choices. The waitress was very helpful with our orders and with a smile we were soon served. 2 of us had starters which were delicious and our mains were, again, delicious. Strawberry Sundaes to follow and we were all very satisfied with the service and the meals. Prices were about the average that you'd expect and we will return another day soon. Another point I made was that the toilet facilities were very clean. Car park had loads of spaces and a few disabled parking spaces near to the entrance. All in all, it was a very pleasant, lunchtime experience. Thank you to the Chef and our appreciation to the other staff members especially the Waitress.

Excellent food very fairly priced worth every penny, situated in a lovely location very easy to find if you've not been before, the staff are absolutely brilliant they look after you very well and tend to your needs always service with a smile and checking your happy with everything, highly recommended for some food or even just a drink in the homely cosy atmosphere

Place looking a bit worn, staff freindly enough, service quite fast, and food was decent. Would pop in again if passing, but not one to make a special journey for.

I would normally give it 5☆ but went last night really looking forward to having the butter chicken as I have raved about it in the past & got my friends hooked on it, but it was really disappointing 😞 it didn't taste the same & nothing like I'd had before to the point I couldn't eat it, my daughter who also had it said the same, I'm not sure if it was a different chef but something was certainly different. The menu is vast so there are plenty of other food choices to have, but the butter chicken is usually my favourite. Can't complain about the staff because the young girl who served us was lovely & very helpful as are all the staff & the venue itself is lovely. So the staff & venue are 5☆ & this is the only time I've not enjoyed my meal so I'm hoping this was just a one off x

We popped in for lunch to try the new lite bites menu and we were not disappointed. The food was great and tasty with a menu to suit all tastes.We were greeted by friendly staff members at the bar and especially Michelle who made sure our visit was enjoyable our food and drink were delivered.to our table without waiting long. Overall the food is good value for money compliments to the chef. We will be back soon.
