For pub it is good, but a bit below Wetherspoon standard. It is probably smallest of what I've seen, plenty tables missing numbers for online orders, but service on the bar is fast and staff friendly. I assume that it is just because there wasn't better building close to bus station available. Otherwise priced just like any other wetherspoon, clean and enjoyable.

Have been coming here for years as live local, but never in my life have I witnessed such poor customer service and bad attitude from staff, in particular the latest duty manager (Molly). Brought my family here recently for a rare get-together to enjoy a meal and few drinks, but was sadly greeted by miserable staff with lack of customer service skills. As we ordered on the App for ease, it became clear that the manager was not happy "waiting on us" banging our glasses down each time and no pleasantries whatsoever. Even when we tried to lighten the mood with a bit of banter, it went down like a lead balloon. She was clearly having a bad day and sadly we bared the brunt of it. There are ways to speak to people without the need for attitude and trying to embarrass them in front of others, and you should not be in this profession if you cannot remain polite and professional whilst serving your customers. I wouldn't have minded, but we were just out for a nice relaxing family tea, minding our own business and keeping ourselves to ourselves, unlike some of the noisier younger customers that were sat upstairs! I am in my fifties and must say in all the years I have eaten out, this experience was by far one of the worst, I am still shocked at how we were spoken to. I have been to many Wetherspoon's but I have never witnessed such bad manners and disgusting attitude from a so called manager. I was mortified and so embarrassed to have suggested we eat here as a family. It was also some of our families first visit, and they were made to feel very uncomfortable at the dreadful attitude of the duty manager. I will certainly be more choosier next time our family manages to get together, which sadly may be some months away. It really was a sorry case of "you get what you pay for". If you want a relaxing gathering then I would advise choosing elsewhere in Cannock, unless you do not mind your meal being served up with a huge helping of "bad attitude" on the side!

Food is as cheap as a takeaway, sometimes even cheaper and easily better quality. Beer is also as cheap as it gets, other than the supermarket. As are all Wetherspoons. We struggled for a table as early as half six on a Friday but apart from that it's difficult to fault all things considered.

Food quality has lowered and venue full of loud locals if you want somewhere for a quiet bite to eat best to go elsewhere.
