Definitely wouldn’t recommend. The starter , garlic bread was really disappointing, full of oil and very bland tasting. The log fire was a lovely gesture but unfortunately it made it smell very strongly , which resulted in me having a migraine. After an hour of waiting for our food, we asked how long our food would be, and was told it most likely going to be a further 20 minutes! We can completely understand that it can be busy and food waiting time may be longer, however most tables around us had arrived after us and was being served their food. We decided to pay for our drinks and leave as this is long wait for anyone , let alone for a young child. When we told a staff member we was leaving and would like to pay for our drinks. We didn’t have an apology nor did anyone come over to sort out payment. Two of the girls just stood and had a chat, looking over. After waiting so long , we walked to the bar where it seemed to a pain to the bar man for us to separately pay , so we had to make one payment and sort it all out ourselves. We still got charged for 1 meal we never had! Definitely wouldn’t go again!

Fantastic menu, great choice if beers and ciders. Endless selection of spirits too. Sat by an open log fire...great atmosphere!
