What happens to my data?

Your data is protected under various Acts (i.e., Data Protection Act). If you give us permission to keep your data we;

Once we delete your personal details your raw data enables us to keep checking that the instrument remains appropriate for business people over time.

We do not keep your personal details nor distribute them.

Is The Leaders Profile used as a hiring tool?

No. The Leaders Profile is primarily designed to help an employer to identify opportunities to better manage, train, supervise or coach you … irrespective of whether you are already an employee or a potential employee.

If The Leaders Profile is used in recruiting it is INTENDED to ONLY be used in conjunction with a complete battery of HR assessment tools.

Is this an academic tool?

No. The Leaders Profile is a commercial hybrid of several academic instruments and only uses VERY conservative tolerances.

400 questions provide a general snapshot of 36 traits associated with high performance in a business context.

It is not intended to replace a highly specified psychometric tool. Psychometric evaluations are typically more expensive, required for specific purposes (i.e., clinical assessments) and are administered by a psychologist in a highly controlled setting.

It DOES NOT solicit any clinical data.

For example, this profile will not tell us if you are depressed.

Why this instrument?

It is easy to understand yet provides useful bespoke feedback and recommendations.

Clients like the fact that it is easy to administer and provides a useful starting point for business people wanting to generally identify key strengths and weaknesses … and because it identifies key coaching targets.

And because it was written by business people … FOR business people.

Can I engineer my answers?

Of course. But there are forced error and lie detector questions that clearly tell us if you used a 'response set', tried to engineer the results, rushed the questionnaire, didn't understand the questions or even got someone else to help you do it!
