Welcome to our lovely, all singing, all dancing VW T6 Highline conversion. This campervan is fantastic to drive and very comfortable. It has parking sensors (if you’re not used to driving a larger vehicle!), air con, CD/SD audio system, 5 seats with 3 upfront. There is heating for those chilly nights or early starts powered from the diesel tank. There is ample space in the back with a kitchen and lots of cupboards for storage. The rear barn doors open up for easy access. The kitchen has a double gas hob, a sink, and a fridge with a freezer compartment and we supply all your cooking equipment including pots, pans, cutlery, mugs and of course a kettle! We also provide the gas for cooking and there are water tanks for the sink. The front passenger seat swivels to create more space and to face each other when eating. There is a table stored under the seats which attaches in the kitchen. Our campervan has a Dometic awning over the sliding door which is quick and easy to set up. It provides summer sun shade or keeps off the drizzle getting in and out of the van. A great place to sit on a warm evening on our comfy outdoor chairs with cozy fleeces and sip a G&T or a Hot Choc whichever takes your fancy. Night Night Sleep Tight – two can sleep ‘downstairs’ on the reclining rock and roll double bed (crash tested with seatbelts), or if you prefer you can sleep ‘upstairs’ in the elevating roof. The rear seats and roof are very simple to fold out and elevate, respectively. Bring your own double sleeping bag or duvet and sheet and most guests prefer using their own pillows.  If you do sleep up top, the canopy has zippers to open so you can while away the evening looking at the dark skies over Cumbria.

We had such a great time in our van from The Lakes Camper Company! The van itself was fully equipped and a high spec fit-out. The handover gave us all of the information and guidance we needed and everything was easy to use. We didn’t have any issues with the van during our week travelling around the Lake District and was very comfortable and cozy at night! Al in all a great experience and we would definitely use The Lakes Camper Company again (if we don’t buy our own camper!)

I hired the camper van for 4 nights with my son. As the weather forecast wasn’t good for the Lakes or Scotland we explored Anglesey and Snowdonia. The van is in nearly new condition and has everything you need. I slept on the seats which convert into a bed and my son slept in the pop up top. The van has a two ring gas hob and a grill for your cooking needs. The handover was straight forward with Pete demonstrating all the features of the van. Pete was also flexible about us returning the van late as it was not booked out on the day of our return. All in all I would thoroughly recommend.

We rented from the Lakes Camper Company for 4 days to tour around the Lake District as a family of 4 and it was a great experience from beginning to end. We booked very last minute and the paperwork etc was handled very quickly. The camper was even better than we had imagined with all features you could need - immaculately clean and perfect to drive. We will definitely be booking again next year!

Couldn’t have been happier with the Lakes Camper Co experience. Lou and Pete were punctual and accommodating throughout the whole process. The van is a fun piece of kit!!! Everything we needed for our little roadtrip away to Scotland. Would definitely recommend!

3 nights over the bank holiday weekend - absolutely brilliant! The camper has everything you will need, well kitted out and nice little touches of fleecy blankets and comfy outdoor chairs to enjoy on an evening with a glass of something! The bed was spacious and very comfy - and still room to be able to make a morning cup of tea! Pete and Louise provided a great hand over and explained everything about the camper and all the functions in detail making for an easy setup once we arrived at the campsite. We will certainly booking again ☺️🚐 D&J
