The room was clean and comfy and the breakfast was delicious. The staff have been very friendly and welcoming. We've really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. Great price, easy (free) parking, breakfast included. I would definitely stay here again.

Great friendly hotel, great service. Our room is spotless and really big with character. Deep bath with good toiletries. Dinner, Italian style was excellent, looking forward to breakfast!

Lovely local pub, the pizza is well worth a try and definitely doesn't hurt the pocket, beer is well priced also. Staff friendly and nice enclosed rear garden.

My brother and our friend called in for a drink, the drinks were a limited selection. We had a meal as it was mine and my brother's birthday the following day. We were celebrating the day before so that we could be together with our life long friend. We had different meals and none of us were disappointed. The food was excellent and came to the table hot. Service was quick and staff were very welcoming. I would highly recommend the King's Head with one reservation and that is to have a wider drinks selection. Our friend was staying the night for bed and breakfast as he had come down for the day to celebrate our birthday. He messaged me from home later on the next day 22nd of November and said he, had one of the best breakfasts at a hotel. This is high praise indeed as he has stayed in many hotels around the world during the course of his highly distinguished career over the last thirty years.
