We were looking for a dog friendly place to have a drink and came across the Kings Head. We had a very friendly greeting from a gentleman and the staff very attentive. On ordering the drinks we decided to try the Sunday lunch, it was home cooked, served quickly and great value for money. If you own a large dog they have plenty of room and were really made a fuss of with treats. So pleased we popped in and will certainly be back if we’ve visiting Lichfield again.

The place itself from an historical poinf of view is fantastic.The food quality was good.The service behind the bar was not very efficient took several attempts to get food order right.Food wait was too long so some improvements required.Overall still very good mainly because of the history of the building.Staff training required.
