A beautiful, hidyhole. Perfect for fine dining plus relaxing area by the bar. Highly recommend this place. Food is absolutely stunning.

I have to say I was rather confused by my visit, as this restaurant was recommended to me. The restaurant itself and staff were great, I have no issue there. But it was the menu that caused the confusion. I downloaded the menu from their website, to review prior to the visit - it looked fantastic and had approx 17 mains. The menu I was given on the night had 7 mains? - fish (2), chicken, steak, pork, burger and risotto. I appreciate that the menu can change - as stated on the website - but I didnt expect it to change to such an extent? It may be called a The Jockey but I feel like the one who has been taken for a ride. I won't be going back.

Stopped for lunch on the way from Cornwall to the Lake District. Lovely pub, delicious food (we had the bream which was beautifully cooked). Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the interiors and beautifully clean toilets!

Very poor experience.Under cooked pork. The veg consisted of 1 small sweet corn cut into 2 plus 2 very small spring onions.I think they are trying to be upmarket with fancy names but not succeeding. I went home and a ate a bowl of cereal. I will definitely not go again.
