The Rib of Beef was cooked to perfection by Jimmy, extra thick and juicy, the “king of all steaks”, the bottle of D'argadens Bordeaux matched perfectly this stunning meat. Beautiful surroundings with deer all round in the park. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. The whole experience was second to none. Paul Thompson5 StarThis was the best Sunday pub lunch I've ever had. The carrots and cabbage were cooked to perfection. The gravy was very tasty. I was blown away by the roasted garlic bread sauce. And such a cool place, with interesting walls. Staff were super too.Sunday 3rd July 2022

toby sexton5 StarAmazing stay here, fantastic clean, spacious and very comfortable rooms. Great atmosphere in the bar, restaurant and outdoor seating areas, with very friendly staff. The food was incredible, especially watching your steaks being cooked over the open fire.Saturday 30th July 2022
Ian Davies5 StarThe location is tucked away on the edge of a country estate. The deer wander up to the gardens regularly. The food is fantastic especially the meats cooked on the open fire in the Elk room. Prices are a bit higher than average, but we'll worth it.
