I have been going the greyhound for years I always took my grandad there before he passed away on a Friday dinner time for a carvery and a pudding he loved going and it was they only place he would go, it was his highlight of the week because he couldn't drive anymore. It is a great place to have a lovely meal with your family. They do have a great variety of food with a great children's menu. Sometimes when they are very busy and you haven't booked you have a bit of a wait to get a table so it is best to book in advance but we don't all the time we just go and they have always found us a table. The owners and staff are very friendly and have a chat with you. The food is great my son loves the pizzas and fries, we all love the cheesy garlic bread pizza it is amazing and the best we have ever had at a pub. My husband loves the burgers, my daughter love the chicken nuggets and I love the hunters chicken, the chicken is very nice moist. If you don't like anything that your meal comes with you can make changes but somethings are at additional cost. The only thing I don't like is the chips so I always change them to the fries which are really good. If there is a problem with your meal the staff are very quick to sort it out and they are very apologetic. Great desserts menu love the ice cream sundaes. Overall a great place to go for a meal and drinks.

A lot larger and better inside than expected. Daily carvery, great pizzas from wood burning pizza oven, food from menu generally very good and well priced. Good selection of beers etc and bar snacks.

Our daughter booked The Greyhoud Inn for Sunday Lunch as we were visiting her. She had been there before & was very impressed so she wanted to take us there. We'll I can honestly say this a superb place to eat. On this day we had the the Sunday roast from their carvery. I can certainly say this is the best carvery I have every experienced. Choice of 4 meats and a good variety of vegetables. Between us we had the beef, pork & turkey and they were all nicely cooked and tender. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Staff were extremely polite and very helpful. The restaurant area is well laid out. There is a bar area where you can also eat but I did not go in there. However, my daughter told me it is very nice. There are also outside benches in very well kept gardens and plenty of parking space. I would highly recommend the Greyhound Inn. I could not find fault. Definitely 5 star for me.

Decent selection on Carvery and menu but today's carvery meats were a bit dry and fatty. Good selection of veg but cauliflower needs cooking first. Not as busy as it has been in the past perhaps improving the above might help. 2nd visit Carvery not up to scratch at all today. Probably won't try again. Pizza was excellent though.
