A historic Cotswolds pub situated in the beautiful village of Broadwell near Stow-on-the-Wold in the heart of the Cotswolds run by Peter Creed & Tom Noest, focussing on good simple pub food with a straightforward wine list and spirits selection. The Fox is owned by The Donnington brewery just two miles away, they brew traditional English ales that complement the character of this simple pub. There is a cosy bar area with lots of seating to have a quiet drink, a restaurant, and a large beer garden.

Elle Renoir5 StarWonderful. Perfect place for a Sunday roast. I had roast beef which was sirloin & cooked very pink. It melted in my mouth. Lovely atmosphere of families, couples & friends all enjoying their Sunday afternoon.
Utterly beautiful setting. And the staff were really lovely too.
The roast was served with a huge Yorkshire Pudding, cauliflower cheese, glazed carrots & roast potatoes. I had no room for pudding! XMonday 17th April 2023

Cris Hander3 StarIn my opinion it is somewhat impersonal, it has lost the local character that predominated before, it is usually full of people passing through or visiting and there is an absence of locals, for a reason, although the food has improved, it is good and varied.
They have increased the number of tables and have changed textiles for other fabrics, resulting in much more noise and colder, which makes it not very welcoming. The last thing, when you ask for your bar bill you will see it increased by 12.5% tip, I am not against this, but to be honest it is to warn it somewhere, perhaps on the menu, because if not, on the contrary, I can refuse to pay it. It's not honest.
For me, if they fix these things, it's not a bad place to go.Sunday 4th June 2023
