'The Forgotten Tea Room' is a very simple, traditional tea room experience, with a little bit of magic thrown in, courtesy of The Tea Room Fairies. Yes, there are fairies living and assisting me in my tea room. I offer a delightful, simple menu, including afternoon tea, cream tea, tea, coffee, fruit squash, milk, scones, cakes, cookies, biscuits and sandwiches, all served on fine china, to be enjoyed at your own leisurely pace, in unique surroundings, at tables with crisp linen table cloths and napkins. For your little ones, they too will have their own special china and teapot, after all, no tea party is complete without a tea set and why should grown-ups have all the fun? Leave the world as you know it behind you, when you step through the door of The Forgotten Tea Room. Let yourself be transported back to a time when the pace of life was slower and life itself was so much simpler. I hope that your visit to 'The Forgotten Tea Room' will be one that you will enjoy and remember, and want to repeat. I, and the The Tea Room Fairies, look forward to welcoming you. With love, Sandra xx

I didn't know you could dress up! I only found out too late about Jilly's Heavenly Chocolate, but the tea and cakes were more than enough. Seriously, a lovely Sunday luncheon being lured into hip-hugging calories by John and learning about Transylvanian vampire hairdressers in the Big Apple from Sandra, Hubby and I had a lovely time. Well worth buying that house so we can come again! Well, possibly not a whole house ... At the very least a pit stop on the way home from the seaside.

Popped into for a coffee and cake, my friend and I were made more than welcome by John and his wife. My friend had a scone with cream, which she commented was very fluffy and delicious and I had the gluten free Rocky road, which was absolutely Yummy. We will definitely be popping in again.

Can I firstly say, what a fantastic hidden gem,as the Name states The Forgotten Tea room, from the moment you enter the Tea Room, and the really warm and sincere welcome to the moment you leave, the experience is first class. The selection of cakes or afternoon tea is wonderful, fresh strawberries, chantilly cream, freshly made scones, the old fashioned china that it is served on, to the artefacts around the walls and all areas, even the WC, is in keeping with the whole ambience, you are not rushed, and what a warm loving couple whom own the Tea Room, they keep you smiling , with the love they have for what they do. As a fellow owner of a catering establishment, you must go in and visit If going to Horncastle, I will be back whenever I get the time, cannot stop talking about it to all I speak to, and wish them well.
