Called in at The Drivers Rest yesterday and was made to feel very welcome from the start, the staff are friendly attentive and well mannered, with out being intrusive. The menu's are refreshingly different from a lot of brewery chain eateries, so the choice is very good. The food was well presented, well cooked and very tasty as well as well proportioned. There is also a very good choice of craft ales alongside lager's and ciders We will definitely be calling back to The Drivers Rest very soon

Absolutely outstanding food & service. Passionate business is a successful business and these guys are smashing it on every level. If you want delicious, comforting locally sourced food, great portions at a fair price you will not be disappointed. 😁🔥👊

If you have to make a detour and drive half an hour extra for a pint of real ale and a good meal it will certainly be worth while. The food is superb and the choice of real ales too. Very friendly staff. The kind of pub you would like to have in your neighbourhood.

Fantastic Country pub, Good beer and excellent food. A very good vegan and vegetarian Charming informative locals even if their geography is off - sorry paul from kent. The staff are chatty and courteous and obviously like working there . The owner is a fervent supporter of the local economy and farms. Can't praise it enough but the phrase "welcoming country pub" fits

Such a great pub. Stumbled across it while in holiday has excellent food and great selection of beers. The staff were very friendly and the chef is passionate about the food he makes.
