About Us

The Crown is a vibrant, friendly village inn run by two passionate locals. Sit by the roaring log fire, sip a pint in the sunny courtyard or hang out with friends in the stylish, charming dining room. You’re spoilt for choice.

You’ll find real ales and locally brewed cider. Whilst a comprehensive wine list complements the excellent seasonal menu. Nothing is too much trouble – fresh ale and meats arrive daily, meat is from Meadow Farm in the adjoining village and home grown vegetables and herbs are used whenever possible.

Take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life and stay in one of our four newly redecorated bedrooms. Surrounded by beautiful Cotswold countryside The Crown is the perfect base for walking, exploring or just putting your feet up.

Stayed at The Crown for 2 nights. Lovely quirky room, clean, comfy bed, great rain shower. Ate in restaurant both nights, food good quality, staff lovely, pub had a great atmosphere. We will be back.

Context for this is catering for a group of 17 people. Handled very well, the food was of a high standard. Great service and friendly staff.

Stayed at the hotel. Staff were very friendly, but the standard of the room was unacceptable. Wallpaper peeling off, filthy mattresses, messy wiring with hard to reach extension leads the only option. Questionable stains on cushions. Also the bar downstairs was advertised as closing 11pm, but there was very loud music going on until midnight. Was the cheapest option in the area at 65 quid but wouldn't stay here for free again.
