Being from a family that has curries pretty frequently, we were blown away when we found a takeaway that is able to produce authentic Indian food consistently. The food tastes delicious and always arrives very promptly. The staff have always been helpful both when ordering on the phone and when picking up a collection order. Cannot recommend them enough!

Our last two orders have been wrong - rice missing one week, then a plain nan and paratha when we'd ordered (and paid for) them stuffed. The food is usually very good, but it does vary.

We regularly have a Indian takeaway. We either use The Clay Oven or Prince of India. Last night we had a awful experience with The Clay Oven. We ordered as soon as they opened 5.30. I was a little surprised when told it would be an hour. In fact it was over an hour and a half at ten past 7, I did phone and ask at 6.45 only we had a family zoom meeting planned at 7.30. I was told "we got busy" by that I think they meant they had "Just Eat" orders and put the regulars on hold. When it did turn up there was a item missing and the food to be honest wasn't their normal standard. When I told them I was told we will give you a refund for the item missing. It disappoints me we were treated like this as we have used them since they opened and the owners live on our close so we are neighbours. We're not sure if we will go back. Mainly due to their attitude, not once did they say "Sorry" Has anyone else found their standards slipping?
