After struggling to find the right balance of beautifully designed, durable and affordable children’s furniture for our own children we decided to take matters into our own hands... and so our new baby, The Children’s Furniture Company, was born!
Our range of fun yet practical children's furniture is built tough, in fact we have made it "kid tough" built to last and designed with little people in mind! We have first-hand experience with lively little ones and we keep them at the heart of all of our products, whether it is getting that last inch of storage out from under a bed or designing a wardrobe with slow-closing doors.

Elizabeth Herbert1 StarDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Please don't make the same mistake I did and order before reading the reviews. So many people have had the same experience we did. I cannot believe this company are still able to trade. We ordered a bed back in March and scheduled the delivery date. That date came and we had no contact. I logged on to the delivery company tracking and the order had been placed on hold. No communication at all. Trying to contact them is a nightmare, they only provide a premium rate number and it takes forever to get through. When you do, they don't call back or do anything to help. Worse still, when we cancelled the order we still had not received a refund 2 months later. They claimed they had tried to refund but the bank rejected the payment and there was nothing more they could do. It was only through submitting a fraud dispute case with my bank that I finally got the money back. The bank were so fast and amazing. This company are the worst I have ever dealt with and should not be allowed to take more orders. Disgraceful. Sadly, I can't give 0 stars.Tuesday 24th May 2022
Matt Wesley1 StarA truly awful experience with this company. We ordered a 3 piece furniture set last July for our son's bedroom. 2 pieces arrived within 8 weeks. 1 piece did not arrive. We received one email 3 months later without any apology or timeline for when the furniture would be delivered, just that it was delayed. A month later we were notified it would be another 2-3 months. 3 months later, it would be a further 8 weeks. 3 months later, hopefully it will be with you soon. Finally, a month later we were called out of the blue by a delivery company giving us 24 hours notice of delivery. When we finally received the furniture it was made up of two boxes which were not compatible (which we were only able to discover once we'd spent 2 hours building it). Despite being told this would be resolved as a matter of urgency we're still waiting for this to be resolved. Nearly 12 months after originally ordering.
We have not received a single telephone call or apology. All correspondence has been via email only. No offer of any form of compensation for our experience. Their approach to customer service is truly awful. Do not use them.Thursday 19th May 2022
Claire Pattison1 StarI would like to second review by Stephanie Hewitt. After reading their delivery term of 10 days I ordered a lovely looking furniture set however when the invoice came through it stated 12 - 14 weeks! we have a baby due in 10 weeks so realised this is no good. Have emailed and called several times for help but not been able to get through. sadly customer service is appalling which is a shame because the furniture looks fantastic! would not recommend this company if you want a speedy delivery and a good customer helpline.Monday 16th May 2022
Mark Pinto1 StarService from this company has been awful since placing my order, which i will summarise briefly:
- told lead time would be 6-8 weeks. Still no contact from them after this time so i asked for an update, at which point i was told it would be another 8 weeks
- i complained about lack of contact about the delay so they offered a £40 refund, which never turned up
- i was told if i split my order then the bed would "definitely be delivered during March".
- i contacted them 21st March to get an update, the agent tried telling me that i was told delivery would take 12 weeks before i ordered the items, and that i would receive no part of my order for 4 more weeks.
- i told the agent he was incorrect and i had the proof. I also told him that the price has now decreased a lot since i placed my order so i want them to honour the new price, seeing as i haven't even received the goods yet. The company are now ignoring my emails.
I decided in the end to cancel my order and get a refund. They refuse to accept cancellation of the order over the phone. I have informed them twice in writing that i want to cancel the order, but these have both been ignored so far.Wednesday 23rd March 2022
PJ Hector1 StarOrdered a chest of drawers from this company and paid an additional cost for an assembled product. 10 days later the product arrived, unassembled. Spoke with the team who assured me their courier team would rectify the matter. Despite numerous attempts to get clarity on when they would be able to do this, I received no satisfactory response. Their phone number appears to be cut off and no one can be reached. The unassembled product has been in my hallway for almost 4 weeks. Would advise people to steer clear of this company.Tuesday 19th April 2022
