WOW. This place is amazing. Menu is fabulous - actual food lives up to it too. The meal we had was probably the best pub food we have ever had The pub is cosey inside, it has a good outdoor dining area with heaters and blankets for cool evenings and also open area with picnic tables. There is a children play area too. Staff are great - the owner / manager (?) is fantastic. Very easy going manner Overall would really recommend. If we are ever in this neck if the woods again (we came from NE) we will definitely visit again

We got lost on the motorbike and luckily went past this little gem so pulled in for a pit stop. Was welcomed as soon as we walked into the pub garden and asked what we wanted to drink as we sat down on the bench. Had a lovely pint and some really nice food (i had whitebait and fish and chips). Service by all the staff was spot on while we enjoyed our food in the nice relaxing environment. The owners have done a great job making the place look great. Would recommend if you are in the area. Came here for a family meal, we all had steaks which were cooked to perfection, triple cooked chips are lovely and the peppercorn sauce was amazing, one of the best I've ever had. Prices are slightly steep but for the quality, it's worth it. They have a great selection of lager, ciders etc. The staff are really friendly, chatty and are very attentive. The only downside of our visit is we were given the incorrect steaks to begin with but, a very small error which was shown on the bill, so all in all, would go back, 100%.

Such a lovely afternoon spent here. Food was faultless, service was great. We were a party of 9 adults and 5 kids, (they had such a fun afternoon playing in the kids area, they didn't want to leave). Final bill was very reasonable, especially considering the great quality of the food served. Will definitely be back!
