The Cake Hole is a small, family run business and has been providing the very best chocolate and celebration cakes to Hertfordshire for over 15 years. Nestled away in the picturesque churchyard of the beautiful St. Mary's church in Hitchin, we are open all year round. We are constantly trying, tasting and procuring the finest ingredients and chocolate, so you will always be taking home the very best.

Zoe Dagless1 StarI’m all for family run businesses but this is not a very organised one. I ordered vegan cupcakes with a month in advance for a special occasion there for the morning. I walk in on the day at 12 and the baker is late he is delivering a cake somewhere …. What?!? Little apology. It’s midday how late can a baker be. Couldn’t they have foreseen this the day before and called me. I already paid and they couldn’t even give me money back on my card so now I just have cash which I hardly use. Don’t rely on this shop for a special event they will let you down with no apology!!Saturday 6th November 2021

This is THE place to order the best chocolate cake for someone with the EGG allergy or someone who are VEGAN. The Birthday Party or Wedding Anniversary, we would order from The Cake Hole. The cakes always get lots of compliments, looking very impressive! The cakes are delicious, with a home-made feel and competitively priced. Great service too!Tuesday 11th May 2021
