Very nice traditional cafe. Pleasant staff, clean , good home cooked food and a great cup of tea …..what more do you need from a cafe ? 😊

Not bad for a quick stop off coffee while passing however tables weren't cleared quickly as the girls where busy . I'd also suggest a quick sweep around outside. Quite a bit of litter. I'm a trained Barrista and I'd say the coffee machine needs a good flush out and re set . The roast was bitter , just pointers not complaints the food looked beautiful though.

I went for lunch on 13th July 22. I ordered one of the daily specials poached salmon salad. It was the worst meal I have ever eaten. The salmon was not seasoned and stone cold. The coleslaw looked like the chef had poured half a jar of mayonnaise on a plate and bits of cabbage. Coleslaw was inedible unless one liked to just eat mayonnaise. The granary bread was stale. Everything on that plate was just not good

Great range of teas. Which you can also buy. Good selection of food. Some great bargains to buy upstairs in the shop. I will be back.
