Café

Our award winning brunch, lunch and tea menu is available from 10am until 4pm every day; along with pre-ordered Afternoon Tea (tables booked 24 hours ahead) and takeaways for collection

Shop

Our cosy shop stocks delicious local produce alongside everyday provisions, whilst the gift shop has a wonderful range of homewares, traditional toys, gifts and cards for all occasions

Delivery

When closed we offer deliveries to the local area – when open we have a takeaway menu every day and Afternoon Tea and ready meals for collection on Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday

Myself and my wife had a quick bite to eat this afternoon and found the staff to be amazingly helpful,pleasant with a great interaction. Food was amazing and I can safely say the best coffee in Dumfries. The extra sugar man Had the pleasure of breakfast here today and enjoyed every bite,together with the excellent service thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Well done again!!! This place is so fresh and bright with an amazing veggie/vegan menu. I've been here around a dozen times and the quality of the food, the service and the atmosphere never disappoints. Boathouse wedges are the best wedges I've had. Great for a catch up with friends, family outing, couples, quick coffee stop. On top of a lovely interior, cleanliness (the toilets have won cleanliness awards I think!), friendly vibe and a simple but amazing menu, you have a great view of Criffel. Even on a moody, cold day, the all around windows give you a panorama of the the Riverside. 10 minute drive or 30 minute cycle from Dumfries Town centre. They have a little shop with groceries and essentials as well as a gift shop with indie/handcrafted products. Most of all, me and my mum will keep coming back here as she is a wheelchair user and the access/facilities are fantastic. Staff very accommodating. Would recommend to any and all!

An absolutely beautiful place to visit, friendly, clean and fantastic service. A lovely selection in the shop of local produce and more. Absolutely a must to visit when in the region and the only thing that may better the experience is the views.... sensational!

Love this place. Best view from any restaurant in D&G. Whole place is glass with an amazing view of the river and surrounding hills. Foods very nice, although not cheap. Staff are friendly. Wish they'd start doing eggs Benedict again tho, that was my fav, they took it off the menu during lockdown.
