"Paid my first visit to the pub today at lunchtime, we sat outside with it being a nice day, had a pint of Wainwright beer and ordered the steak and ale pie. A friend had the pulled pork bap. Both were very good! My steak pie had good chunks of steak. One of the best pies Ive had, the chips were chunky and the onion rings homemade. Will definitely be back."
"Great Country Pub . Staff are friendly and efficient. Tonight we sampled Fish Friday and it was the best fish and chips ever . Would highly recommend this place for a Meal or just pop in for a drink you will be made most welcome . Please don’t have the two seats by the log fire if you go just in case we pop in "
