Welcome to The Beckford Inn, a beautiful and newly refurbished 19th-century Cotswold pub and hotel in the village of Beckford, near Tewkesbury.
Inside, you’ll find cosy interiors and traditional rustic pub charm, complete with stone floors, three log burner open fires, and an open-plan restaurant space. Outside, you can relax in our spacious beer garden and heated pergola terrace.
With 12 boutique bedrooms full of comfy furnishings and personal touches, we offer the ideal base for exploring the rolling hills of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and easy access to Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon, and the M5.
In the kitchen, we’re passionate about creating seasonal dishes and pub classics with quality local produce, supported by our very own kitchen garden. Behind the bar, it’s all about award-winning Butcombe beer and local cider, plus a great wine list and cocktail menu.
Our garden marquee is perfect for large weddings and events, while our private dining space The Bredon Room offers an ideal space for smaller gatherings, meetings, or parties.

christine charlesworth5 StarMy sister and me have just stayed for 4 days. We were made to feel welcome from arrival. The room was lovely, special touches like radio on, robes to use, complementary goodies. Bed very comfortable, lovely bathroom. The staff were all very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The food was amazing, well done chef. I have a food allergy and the waiter couldn't have been more concerned, checking everything. I give the Beckford arms 10 out of 10.Monday 9th May 2022
Caroline Budgen5 StarWe booked a table here for breakfast before we headed back home from our cottage holiday. The food was superb and we had a really lovely waitress. Our dog was also made welcome. We did debate spending a night in The Beckford Inn as it was so welcoming, but alas, we have commitments tomorrow. Definitely recommend!Friday 27th May 2022
Em Sky5 StarWe have just stayed for sadly only one night and were charmed by this hotel. The room was very comfortable with lots of lovely welcoming touches (radio on, bath robes and a few complimentary treats - the dog was especially pleased with her biscuit 🙂) We had a roast dinner and cooked breakfast, both excellent.
But I have to say the absolute star of the show are the staff who were all so welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back.Tuesday 3rd May 2022
