Barsham Arms, offers pet friendly accommodation 8 miles from the picturesque North Norfolk coast. With traditionally decorated rooms all with en-suite toilets and showers, flat screen TVs and the onsite pub and restaurant it makes the perfect base for exploring the North Norfolk coast.  While staying there is plenty to do from long country walks around the Barshams or a short car journey to Holkham estate, Wells next to sea, the historic Georgian town of Holt or just up the road to the shrine at Walsingham. There is also some world class bird watching all along the coast and across the salt marshes.  Enjoy breakfast in our bespoke restaurant offering everything from homemade sausages and local bacon to freshly baked bread and crumpets while planning your day. Then retire afterwards for a few drinks by our wood burner or an evening meal in the restaurant prepared by our talented chefs. All of our food is sourced from within the Norfolk borders and prepared onsite without exception.  The restaurant and bar like the rooms are 100% pet friendly and there are always treats on the bar for our four legged friends. We offer a constantly changing range of Norfolk ales as well as some wonderful locally sourced gins and even Norfolk whisky as we aim to provide the very best of all things local.  During the winter Thursford Christmas spectacular is only a ten minute drive from the Barsham Arms and makes for a perfect winter retreat. As well as this Holkham hall have a gorgeous Christmas light display and the Wells Christmas tide is not to be missed. There are hundreds of farmers markets, craft and antiques fairs and Christmas fairs that run all throughout the year to keep you busy while you are hear. The picturesque village of East Barsham is home to the quintessential English Inn, The Barsham Arms. The inn boasts a restaurant that serves fresh and locally sourced ingredients alongside the warmest of welcomes and cosy en-suite boutique bedrooms. Incredible eating experience in a beautiful country pub. We have tried most of the gourmet pubs in the region and the Barsham Arms is in our top three every time. Stunning cooking, great service and a lovely setting. You won’t be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our visit here, we were staying in Wells and drove down after reading good reviews, we weren't disappointed! Beautifully cooked Sunday roast and brownie dessert with coffee ice cream.. lovely!! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. One of the best meals during our stay.

Went to The Barsham Arms for the first time this afternoon for lunch with my Mum and nephew and can honestly say it was a gastronomic delight. We sat outside in the little courtyard garden, on one of the hottest days of the year but shaded by the trees which was wonderful. I'd heard good things so I was expecting it to be good but it went beyond that, it was outstanding. From the warm welcome and friendly smiling staff, to the fantastic food I can't rate it high enough. Looking forward to returning with my husband later in the Summer.
