Fred Whitworth1 StarThe lock down killed my father,as l was not allowed to see him, even though I had power of attorney, when my dad was on end of life care (6 months of not seeing my father ) l was Allowed to see him, for protection l was just giving a plastic apron and Face mask (that's no protection ) l feel that I have been let down by all this Red Tape; as my Father Used To Say, IT'S A CRIME TO GET OLDTuesday 4th May 2021
Geoffrey Owen4 StarDuring the short visit at the home, it appears to be Good, the staff were courteous and helpful. And the home looks clean and tidy. And most important of all our loved one looks cared for properly. Concerns, having worked myself in hospital's, EMI Nursing home's, mental health homes, and with disadvantaged young adults. The things I picked up on was moving and handling issues, e.g. picking up service users from underneath their arms, a practice that had long gone out, it is abuse. Please use appropriate equipment for moving and handling handling belts etc. Also a member of staff when questioned had issues with the level of training offerd.Saturday 4th November 2017
