The Angel Inn is the oldest pub in the village.
It derives its name from the devout, artisan
craftsmen who came to build the Holy Trinity
Church some 500 years ago.
It has been long rumoured that a secret tunnel led directly from the crypt to the Angel Inn's cellar!

Angela Bradford5 StarWe had a really good lunch on Saturday. Four of us ate and others came later to say hello and reminisce about their school days. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff were attentive but never intrusive so we felt very comfortable staying for an extended period of time.
