The Alma

Well it's been a tough time for everybody but as we all try to get back to some sort of normal The Alma is still going strong. Our opening hours are Mondays to Fridays 2pm til 11pm, Saturdays 12pm til late and Sundays 12pm til 10pm. We now have a big screen outside for any live sports.

Our fabulous Sunday lunches are available from 12:30 to 16:30 every Sunday - as space is limited it's best to book to avoid disappointment, and the Alma Pub Quiz is BACK starting on Sunday 7th November at 7:30pm. We've a Halloween disco with DJ Kev on Saturday 30th October starting at 8:00pm - so why not dress up (or down), join us and shake your booty.

The famous Alma meat raffle has restarted every Friday, drawn at about 6:30ish. We are looking forward to welcoming you all back in the pub. Follow us on Facebook to stay up to date with the latest news.

Stevie and Matthew would like welcome you to the Alma, your local village pub - family and dog friendly, with a lovely beer garden and children's play area. We serve a good range of real ales, lagers, ciders and wines for you to enjoy. Enjoy a drink in our beer garden and enjoy the sunshine (if it ever returns)!

There has been a public house called the Alma (or Alma Inn) on this site since the 1860s, named after the Battle of the Alma which took place during the Crimean war. Obviously the pub has changed a lot since then but it has always been the centre of the local community and we hope to keep that tradition going.
